1) How can we purchase our puppy with confidence?
Rest assured, we understand that anytime you buy something on the Internet, there are legitimate concerns regarding credibility and product quality. For this reason, we have chosen to be a member of the Better Business Bureau. What this means to you is that you can call the BBB to verify that we are a legitimate, verifiable business operation with reputable business practices BEFORE purchasing. The BBB has visited our business and verified that we are who we say we are and we provide quality products to our customers. Additionally, if you have a legitimate complaint on any part of the transaction, you may call the BBB and they will help in resolving the issue. To verify that we are in good standing with the Better Business Bureau by exercising ethical business practices and providing quality puppies to our customers you may contact the BBB by logging onto: www.bbb.org or calling(605)271-2066, listed as Premier Performance Pets, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
You may also request to contact our Veterinarian, Doctor Chad Anemma of Dakota Dunes Animal hospital. Dr Anemma provides medical assistance for our Labs. He is very familiar with the quality of our puppies and the care we provide to each one.
2) Do you offer a health guarantee?
Upon the purchasers request, we offer a 2 year contract of guarantee that your puppy will be free from certain genetic defects. All conditions of the contract will be outlined there in. We want to assure you that we take all the necessary precautions in the prevention of passing on inherent deficiencies in our breeding program, however, even when the most extensive precautions are made, and parents exhibit excellent genetic qualities, there are no guarantees with any animal that one hundred percent of its offspring will exhibit genetic perfection.
We can also make educated assumptions regarding the potential of our off-spring based on years of production and blood lines as far as hunting, companion, show or breeding prospects, however, once again, it is unrealistic to possibly guarantee these qualities in any animal.
If you would like a health guarantee on your puppy, please print our contract, found on the our "Contact & Contract" page, and follow the instructions in the contract.
3) What does an AKC registration mean?
All of our dogs are registered with The American Kennel Club and those specified also have dual registry with other associations. The American Kennel Club is one of the most well known and reputable dog registries in the US. Having your dog registered in your name with AKC proves ownership and pedigree on your pet.
ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE SOLD WITH FULL AKC REGISTRATION
(unless otherwise specified). Which means, once registered in your name, you can do what ever you want with your dog: show, compete, give it as a gift, or breed!
4) What does it mean to have Championship bloodlines and do Championship titled animals make better pets? Championship titles are achieved by competing in particular events hosted by many different associations. Championship titles are awarded to animals that exemplify superior skill in a particular class or event. *Confirmation titles are given strictly based on confirmation of the animal, not proving skill, intelligence or anything other than confirmation based upon the breed standards. Most of our puppies come from both: Champion bloodlines acheived in field trial and working dog classes in which the animal must exhibit superior skill, intelligence, athleticism and obedience & Championship confirmation. *Our parent pages list thorough explanations of each parents charactor and linage information.
A good dog does not necessarily have to have a good pedigree, however, a good pedigree and Championship bloodlines will highly increase the likeliness of having an intelligent, athletic, trainable and obedient animal. And certainly an obedient intelligent animal will make the best family companion possible!

SHIPPING
1) Can you deliver a puppy to my home town?
Yes. We typically use American, or Continental but can also ship (possibly with extra fee's): Northwest, Delta, ComAir, Skywest air service to deliver all our puppies. We can ship to most Regional and International Airports across the country. Once your payment and shipping information is received, we will make all the flight arrangements and forward your puppies entire flight itinerary including directions where to pick up your puppy.
2) Is flying a puppy safe?
Yes. We are happy to say we have not had one bad experience flying our puppies. The airlines take good care of them and have strict regulations to protect their well being. Your puppy will have adequate food and water for the flight.
3) How much does delivery cost?
We can deliver to most US Airports for $275. This includes the cost of the airline ticket, a new Pet Porter/Crate that will fit your puppy for several weeks, Veterinarian paperwork and transportation to the airport.
4) What do I need to bring to the airport to pick up my puppy?
You will need to bring photo identification to show the ticket agent in order for them to release your puppy to you. You may also want to bring a collar and leash for your puppy so you may let it out of the crate to go to the bathroom. Although it does not happen frequently, we do suggest that you bring an old towel, wash rag or wet wipes and a garbage bag in case your puppy has an accident while in route.

Purchasers New Puppy Information
FOOD We feed Diamond Sport Dog formula dog food & Exceed lamb. Your puppy has been on a “free feed” (food is available at all times) feeding schedule. At 8 weeks and beyond your puppy can begin to change to twice a day schedule, which will also help potty training. Your puppy will need to potty within about an hour or less of eating and drinking thus you will want their feeding schedule to allow enough time for them to eat and potty before you go to work or bed. If you choose to switch foods, it is best for the puppy to mix its current food with the new food for a few days. There will be several days supply food attached to your puppy’s crate in order to mix with another brand if you choose.
REFERRALS We are confident you will be extremely pleased with your new puppy! We do have occasional litters through the year so if you have a friend or family member looking for a Labrador puppy, please feel free to pass on our contact information. We try to post pictures of any current litters on our website which is: www.mynextlab.com. If we are able to help them with a new puppy, we will be happy to send you $25.00.
SHOTS & DE-WORMING Our puppies come with their 1st and 2nd vaccinations given at 6 & 8 weeks of age.
Their vaccination covers: Canine distemper, adenovirus type II, para-influenza, and parvovirus. *It is now being recommended that a third and forth vaccination shot be administered as it is unknown exactly when the puppy will begin to rely on it’s own immunity system.
*All of our puppies have been on a deworming schedule from 4 weeks of age.
Our litters have been dewormed with Pyrantel Pamoate at 2, 4 and 6 weeks of age & and Safe-guard 3 day at 7 1/2 weeks.
Not only do puppies have a tendency to lick and taste everything, grass and dirt sometimes included but since much of their time is spent on the ground where parasites live, you will need to keep your puppy on a regular de-worming schedule. De-wormer for large breed puppies may be purchased at any local pet store or company that sells dog food; your pet store associate or vet will help you choose the best product for your pet. IF your puppy has not already visited the vet by the age of 14-16 weeks you will need to have it vaccinated for rabies and distemper as it is mandatory in most states. You may inquire at this time with your vet about heartworm and a de-worming schedule for young large breed dogs.
AKC REGISTRATION PAPERS WILL EITHER COME WITH YOUR PUPPY OR BE SENT VIA US MAIL. *If you ever you loose or misplace your AKC papers, you can request a copy from me via mail. In order to obtain a duplicate registration I will need: The puppies date of birth, puppy parent names, your full name, address and phone number and payment of $35. Normally it can takes up to 6 weeks to receive your copy.
OTHER INFORMATION
Your puppy may be lonely the first few nights without its littermates, but will grow accustom to its new family and your schedule within a few days. Sometimes travel can be stressful for puppies but in a day or less will feel right at home. I highly recommend crate training to housebreak puppies, which is simply keeping your puppy in its crate any time you are not handling or watching the puppy closely. For example: Right away in the morning allow the puppy outside to go potty; give your puppy food and water, allow for some play time and then back out to go to the bathroom, then into its crate. Every few hours take it out of the crate and bring it immediately outside, watching to see that it goes to the bathroom before allowing it back in the house, play time and into it’s crate. You may extend the time in between potty breaks by increments. A common rule of thumb for how long your puppy can wait between potty breaks is about ½ hour for every week old your puppy is. Late afternoon you could feed and water again, play, another potty break and back into the crate. You can judge when your puppy is ready to go loose in the house for longer periods of time without as much supervision as it is learning to potty outside! *Remember the time it will take to potty train is totally dependant upon your consistency with these simple steps! Your puppy will whine for the first day or two, but after that your puppy will find that the crate is comfortable safe place and will want to go to the crate when it is tired. *If your puppy is keeping you up at night, and you wish to get some sleep :), your puppy will most likely sleep very well in bed with you; they will think of it as a "den", it is dark, soft, warm and a great place to rest. If your puppy wakes and wants down, it likely has to go to the bathroom and once you've taken it potty will likely return to sleep with you quickly.
I recommend taking away all food and water at about 6 or 7 pm so your puppy will not have to go out during the night. Your puppy will love to play and will retrieve if asked and rewarded. It will also like to chew, as it will be cutting new teeth, so chew toys or bones are great for playing and teeth! Your puppy will have a natural instinct to chase things you throw and more than likely retrieve it if you will throw something only a short distance at first, then call it back and reward it with kind words and physical affection, then gently request “give”. It will get better and better the more you practice. Because your Labrador will thrive on loving affection, he will learn quickly to repeat actions that cause him to receive positive praise, so if you exaggerate what a “good dog” he is when he has done something pleasing, it will encourage him to continue this behavior. Your puppy will also do naughty things occasionally so you will need to discipline it promptly so you will have an obedient, enjoyable pet. Usually saying “NO!” loud and firm will be the best method; sometimes you may have to follow up with a forceful touch (spread your fingers apart, make them stiff & rigid and place your hand over his head and press down towards the ground and say “NO”) simulating a mothers reprimand. Being too over baring when correcting a young puppy will damage it’s level of self confidence, so do what it takes to stop the naughty behavior, but return to the puppy in a short amount of time with affection that will confirm your love, just dislike for that particular action. We’ve found that the two most highly used words to help rare a happy obedient dog are “Good dog” and “No”!
Thank you for choosing to purchase your puppy from us! We always love to hear how they are doing and will occasionally post photos you send on our website, so please keep in touch! Our hope is that you will thoroughly enjoy your puppy as a part of your family and that it will be the faithful loving companion God it to be for many years to come!
