About the breed…
We believe that the Labrador retriever is truly a dog for every season. One that will be your loving companion, that will loyally serve, comfort and entertain you. The Labrador Retriever is known for such great accomplishments as: Search and rescue, seeing eye dogs, dogs for the deaf, therapy dogs, drug canine units, champion fowl hunters are just a few, but possibly the most accomplished and least recognized talent of the Labrador breed is that they are the perfect family pet, watch dog and child attendant! The Labrador is a supreme athlete, strong, willing, intelligent and obedient. Their strongest desire in life is of uncompromising service to their master or family.
In our breeding and raring of The Labrador Retriever, we strive to instill the trust towards humans needed in their early developmental stages to encourage and compel the Labs natural desire for service and companionship. We believe that blood lines, recognized accomplishments, and perfection of form all have a place in the enhancement of the breed however do fall at length behind the far greatest demand and desire of each pet owner, that is of a genuine loyal and loving friend. Our breeding dogs are first and far most excellent family pets whose characters exhibit immeasurable affection, adoration, devotion and uncompromising benevolence towards our family. They are intelligent, obedient, proficient and athletic. Several of them also have years of accomplished talent, athletism and numerous champions in their linage, mixed with our demand of the highest quality of character, we believe our babies have the genetics and receive encouragement from us as young puppies to become your families’ next best friend. |
About us...
Dennis comes from Mayville North Dakota and has enjoyed animals and especially dogs all of his life. As a teen he and his dad raised, trained and competed Coon dogs. Dennis won every competition he entered, he did receive a 2nd place in a Minnesota State Coon Hunting Field trail Championship. Dennis’s favorite dog to date was his black Lab and Golden Retriever cross, named Bow. Dennis has his Masters Degree in Accountancy, and is the Chief Financial officer of Ho-Chunk Inc. He looks forward to upcoming hunting seasons with our trained hunting labs.
Belinda was raised on a farm outside Jefferson South Dakota. She also has loved animals all of her life, especially horses and dogs. A proof of her youthful love exists as a scar on her right check from a canine, unwilling to return such a love! Belinda’s favorite pets to date are: her childhood love Quarter horse, Lady Percilla Todd and families late dark golden Labrador Retriever Johnson’s Sunny Day, who could truly put a shine on even the rainiest of days! Belinda does most of the dog chores, cares and business, works towards a degree from Peace Makers Bible Institute, is a Certified Nursing Assistant and does volunteer ministry work.
Our kids, Jory, Colby and Shayla are very active in all facets of our dog business. Jory loves to hunt! He works at a local pizza restaurant and his biggest love are fast pretty cars. Colby is very active with our dogs. He helps with daily chores, exercise and cares for all of them! He also helps at vet checks and with baby watch at and after whelping. Shayla’s dream is to become a Veterinarian as she has such a love for animals! She gives extra hugs and kisses to each puppy to help make them the loving companions they where created them to be.
